Synopsis

The film's events take place in present-day Syria, about a doctor living in a remote rural town, who devotes his time and energy to serving its people with his professional and life experiences, acting as a "The sage" to them on both the professional and social levels. During his granddaughter's visit, he will face a personal ordeal that will reveal the social deterioration caused by the war and its repercussions on people's destinies, behaviors, and morals.
