Synopsis

Ryūji reunites with Kazuo Ikeyama, a key witness in the corruption scandal surrounding the West Osaka Urban Development Project five years prior – the very case that cost Ryūji his prosecutor's post. Determined to drag Ikeyama into court, Ryūji's investigation hits a snag. However, whilst uncovering the truth behind a social welfare fraud case stemming from an apartment eviction dispute, he encounters Onishi, a day labourer holding the key to the corruption scandal.
