Bella, min Bella (1996)

Synopsis

Bella's father died tragically, and now the teenage girl lives in close proximity to her mother, Maj. They protect each other from the outside world, so to speak, but one day the outside world knocks on their door. Maj meets a new man, and Bella becomes involved in helping a young Bosnian refugee obtain asylum. Has Maj let go of her daughter too soon? Is Bella capable of helping both herself and others?
