Synopsis

A gigantic blood-red monster, made of steel and flames, floating on the still waters of Lake Constance – this is Robert Carsen's unconventional vision of the setting of Verdi's masterpiece Il Trovatore for the 60th anniversary of the Bregenz Festival.
