Biography
Kikugoro Onoe V (4 June 1844 - 18 February 1903) was a Kabuki actor during the Meiji period. Unlike most Kabuki actors, Kikugoro specialized in playing both tachiyaku (male heroes) and onnagata (women) and was best known for his role in plays by Kawatake Mokuami.
