Aditi Srivastava Modi, professionally known as the acclaimed singer-songwriter Itida, is a cultural enthusiast and author dedicated to the preservation and celebration of Indian heritage. Born Aditi Srivastava with family roots in Lucknow, India, her path has been one of discovery; after graduating from the University of California San Diego, she initially prepared for a career in law before pivoting to her true calling in the arts. Inheriting a rich musical legacy from her paternal grandmother, Aditi formally trained in Vocal Hindustani Classical music (Benaras Gharana) under the legendary Padmavibhushan Dr. Girija Devi. As Itida, she released the well-received albums Pen & Paper (2013) and the fusion project Des-Pardes (2014) via Hungama Music/Artist Aloud.
