Synopsis
Dong, a wannabe actor, finally getting the once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to fame and success, wakes up with a dead woman, Meng, beside him. Unable to piece the night before together, Dong is determined not to let it stand in his way. He cleans up the scene and sets it up like a robbery went wrong but leaves traces of himself to be found unknowingly.While the police search the apartment, it turns out all residents have something to hide. A foreign caretaker always quarrels with Meng, a peeping Tom at the massage shop. This landlord seems kind and polite but, in fact, abuses his wife, an inharmonious family that pretends to be happy, and an owner of a publishing house in debt. To unravel the cause of Meng’s death, the long-kept darkest secrets, and everyone seems to have a motive for this murder.

Episode 1
Forever relegated to the role of an extra, Tung, due to grabbing the wrong script, loses the coveted opportunity for a leading role. Just as he is consumed by despair, he encounters his attractive and tipsy neighbor Lin Meng in the staircase, and becomes torn between reason and desire.
Episode 2
The next morning, Tung is horrified to find Lin Meng’s dead body next to him. Scared of being accused of murder, he cleans up the scene and flees in a panic. When Police officers Kuo and Wen question individuals who had connections with Lin Meng, they realize that there may be more than one person with a motive for the crime.

After Tung learns that Lin Meng may have been poisoned, he tries to think up some way to escape suspicion. When Tung’s girlfriend Lu discovers that Tung lied about his whereabouts on the night of the death, she grows suspicious of Tung...
Episode 4
While trying to prove his innocence by tracking down the real murderer, Tung runs into Mr. Chiu from the fifth floor as he attempts to revisit the crime scene. Mr. Chiu reveals to Tung that he discovers Lin Meng may have had a boyfriend.
Episode 5
At Ken-cheng's insinuation, Tung stalks Lu and discovers that she is pretending to be Lin Meng and going on date with other people. When Tung confronts her, Lu in turn exposes his infidelity.
Episode 6
Tung learns that Sheng knows the identity of the murderer and attempts to arrange a meeting to seek clarity, but can’t get the answers he is looking for. Tung senses that the murderer has been watching him and unexpectedly discovers a truth that he had never noticed before.
