Synopsis
In the early days of the internet all kinds of businesses rush to get online, and the web becomes the new wild west. When one couple in Wales “log on” and pay $12,000 to adopt two baby twins from America it causes world-wide outrage. The tabloid press lead accusations that the unregulated internet is facilitating the sale of babies from overseas.

Vickie's Story
The adoption scandal dominates the news in both the UK and the US. Two families are fighting fiercely for the twins to live with them. Initially the general public seems to be on the side of Californian couple Vickie and Richard Allen, but as the media spotlight turns on them Vickie’s life is thrown into disarray.
Tranda's Story
The British courts will determine the fate of the twins and if they stay in the UK or are returned to their hometown in St Louis Missouri. Determined to get her twins out of foster care the birth mother Tranda decides she will enter the fight to get her girls back.
