Synopsis
Galal persuades his cousin Safia, a widowed university professor, to become the mayor of Tel Shaboura so that his family can keep control of the village. However, Safia runs into problems she didn't expect.

Safia is surprised when her cousin Galal visits her and, hiding his true motives, asks her to run for Mayor of their village.

Safia is welcomed in the village by the residents with applause and celebrations. Later, she is outraged to find out the outdated and illegal practices that still reign.

Safia makes sure that her warning is heard by the villagers and the doctor. Dergham Dahisha tries to make a deal with Galal. Kaber reminds Hamed that she’s smarter than him.
