The Ghost of U-513
Secrets of the Third Reich examines the story of the German submarine U-513 which was lost for sixty-eight years after it was hit by a U.S. bomb. It looks at rare footage and talks to U-boat veterans and looks at the life of captain Friedrich Guggenberger who survived the sinking. It also looks at the effort to locate the wreck of the submarine.
