Wei Qian began to care about a boy he encountered on his way home. When he was following Wei Qian, he named him Wei Zhi Yuan, and they lived together, along with his younger sister Xiao Bao. For survival, he helped the gangsters, but under San Pang's persuasion, he decided to break away from the organization. He decided to duel because Xiao Yuan was kidnapped in anger.

Wei Qian heard the head teacher say that Xiao Yuan was always alone at school, so he recommended Xiao Yuan to participate in club activities. Following his brother's instructions, Xiao Yuan joined the club and almost collapsed. Seeing this, San Pang decided it would be better to have an adult woman at home and prepared to find a partner for Wei Qian. While fishing by the river, Xiao Yuan tells Wei Qian that his lover is a man. It's a diverse society, but Wei Qian wonders if this is because of the education he received. When asked whom he loves, Xiao Yuan doesn't answer. In the morning, San Pang sees Wei Qian and Xiao Yuan sleeping on the same bed, and he starts to think that Xiao Yuan likes Wei Qian. When Wei Qian is informed of this by San Pang, he vehemently denies it, saying it's impossible.

Upon learning that Feng Ning, a candidate for his future brother-in-law, had become a partner in the company, Xiao Yuan became instantly displeased.
