Synopsis
The Mind of Mr. J.G. Reeder is based on a character created by Edgar Wallace in a series of 1925 short stories of the same name, Hugh Burden played the titular character – A mild-mannered investigator with the Department of Public Prosecutions.

Mr. Reeder investigates a poison-pen letter accusing a baronet of doing away with his wife. Meanwhile, a convicted forger is released after a ten-year sentence and seeks revenge.
The Stealer of Marble
Mr. Reeder investigates the disappearance of the managing director of the Telfer Consolidated, along with £150,000. He is meanwhile intrigued by the petty theft of some marble chips from a local stonemason's yard.

A woman seeks revenge on Mr. Reeder after her husband is convicted of forgery.
