Synopsis
The four-part documentary series follows the German team Bora-Hansgrohe on its way to the Tour de France 2024. The team wants to finally win the overall title, which is why they have recruited the Slovenian Primoz Roglic. He has won everything but the Tour de France. Both are hungry for victory. But the competition is fierce.

Roglic loses the 2020 Tour at the last second to his compatriot Pogacar. Team Bora-Hansgrohe picks up the Slovenian, with the aim of winning the Tour in 2024. Roglic shows weaknesses in the first Paris-Nice race, while his Tour rivals (Pogacar du Vingegaard) win everything in the spring.
Leiden
Bora-Hansgrohe and Roglic get to work on the details. Roglic is considered meticulous. The tour in the Basque Country starts well for Roglic, but then he crashes heavily, as does the Danish Tour winner Vingegaard. The start of the Tour is in jeopardy. Pogacar continues his winning streak.
Hoffnung
Altitude training and nutrition are key issues in Tour preparation. While Pogacar confidently wins the Giro, Bora-Hansgrohe practises team building in the Sierra Nevada. Red Bull becomes a partner of the team from July. Roglic wins the Dauphiné Tour, the dress rehearsal for the Tour, but shows weaknesses at the end.
Drama
The 2024 Tour de France starts in Florence, and Roglic gets into trouble on the very first stages. His compatriot Pogacar demonstrates his superiority in the mountains. Roglic gets stronger again, but crashes heavily and has to abandon the race. Pogacar wins the Tour by a large margin.
