Synopsis
Mongolia is vast and remote, with the wilderness of the Gobi Desert covering a third of the country. As Nick Knowles discovers, the land of Genghis Khan and dinosaurs is steeped in rich and fascinating traditions.

Nick Knowles travels to the Gobi Desert, where he first sights the Namnaa horse archery academy, then visits a dinosaur museum on wheels and goes camping with author and adventurer Tim Cope.
Episode 2
Nick heads to The Nadaam Festival, a celebration of the ancient skills that were once required to become a warrior under Genghis Khan. He takes on a formidable fighter named Ghana in a wrestling match, and then participates in some eagle training.
Episode 3
Nick travels to Mongolia's capital, Ulaanbaatar, the coldest capital in the world. He takes to the skies in a tandem paraglider, meets one of the world's most famous throat singers, and climbs the largest equestrian statue in the world.
