Synopsis
When a far-right government comes to power in Belgium and starts to deport all people with a migration background, dance couple Soraya and Jamal see only one solution: participate in ‘The Best Immigrant’, a talent show with the main prize… a residence permit. Tarik, the coach they are assigned, participates in the show to avoid being deported himself, but struggles with his conscience. When he goes in search of the truth behind the show, he discovers a dark secret. While Soraya and Jamal dance for their lives, Tarik devises a plan to bring the truth out with their help.

A Chance to Stay
Roeland Peeters' far-right VPV party wins the election and wants to deport all non-natives. A TV producer offers Muna and Jamal one way out: participate in The Best Immigrant, with a residence permit as the prize.
The Inn
Muna and Jamal end up at the Inn, the temporary home for those who survived the first game. While the contestants get to know each other and receive their assignments for the second show, co-host Tarik increasingly struggles with his conscience.
Important Visit
As part of the show, the contestants receive a visit from their families, an emotional reunion. President Peeters comes by, but an incident at the Inn disrupts everything. Meanwhile, Tarik receives a phone call that offers him a way out.
Choosing is Losing
Because the show is breaking ratings records, Lauren treats the contestants to dinner. Meanwhile, Tarik carries out a risky assignment for the resistance. In the fourth live show, a sudden, drastic rule change comes that puts everything on edge.
Resistance
Jamal feels betrayed, while Muna becomes increasingly absorbed in the game. A new candidate unexpectedly appears. After a threat against the show, Lauren changes the penultimate challenge at the last minute, with dire consequences for the remaining players.
