Synopsis
Exciting adventure program. The first series was set in Morocco. Twelve famous Dutch people made an extreme journey over the historic trade route between the scorching Sahara, over the Atlas Mountains, to the royal city of Marrakech. In the second season of Atlas, the participants follow in the footsteps of the gold diggers of Suriname. Presented by: Lauren Verster.

In episode 1, team Robert won the race. This allowed that team to choose between two new candidates, Mimoun and Ron. In the end, team Robert chose to add Ron to their team. Mimoun automatically went to team Inge.
