Synopsis

Episode 1
Xenia, the offspring of a wealthy family in Athens, with whom she has few and only casual contacts, is an ornithologist in the Amvrakikos wetland. During a visit from a school from Arta there, she meets 8-year-old Ioanna, a cheerful and intelligent girl, and an unexpected attraction is born between them. However, Xenia soon learns that the child is being abused by her mother and stepfather.
Episode 2
Xenia and Ioanna begin their journey, unaware that the police have launched an investigation into the little girl's disappearance. Their arrival in Athens is marked by two unexpected events that will bring Xenia to a state of despair.
Episode 3
After her meeting with Angela, Ioanna seems to have taken a liking to the unknown woman. So, when Xenia drops her off at the hotel to go out to look for work, she calls her and asks to meet up. At the same time, Antonis begins his report on Chrysa and her neighborhood, managing to learn about the little girl's contacts with Xenia a few days ago.
Episode 4
Xenia, having nowhere else to go, is forced to show up at her parents' house with Ioanna. Marianna and Lina's first shock, when they hear the little girl call them "mom", is followed by an even bigger one.

When Chrysa hears Ioanna on the phone, she realizes that she is with Xenia. Despite Tolis' strong objections, she decides to track them down. She starts by searching the wetland and, when she learns that Xenia is missing, she goes to the police and tells them about the phone call.
Episode 6
Elvira has managed to confront Antonis, but his visit sends Xenia into a panic attack, feeling that wherever she goes, she will be found. The only safe place that comes to mind is Angela's house.
Episode 7
Chrysa arrives at Angela's house determined to take Ioanna back to her, who is experiencing another huge shock from her mother's visit.
Episode 8
The story of the kidnapping of little Ioanna reaches its end, with the law having the last word.
