Synopsis
Seven unemployed individuals with uniquely quirky superpowers are secretly gathered by the Ministry of Defense in a locked room to save the world, transforming their personal complexes into Earth's salvation.

Episode 1
Nagare, a part-time worker who has decided not to lie for "a certain reason," is secretly summoned by the Ministry of Defense. All seven of the people gathered, including Sae, an office worker, and Tuta, a university student, possess "certain abilities."
Episode 2
While Nagare and the others agree to become reserve heroes, Sae only accepts provisionally, and when Fujiwara calls out to her, she ignores him. For "certain reasons," Sae avoids interacting with people, and is an outsider both at work and in the reserves.
Episode 3
"Mizuno-san! Were you a criminal...?" asks Mizuno, a university researcher, who is then interrogated by Madozumi, an employee of the Ministry of Defense. He also learns from Defense Minister Kurokawa that he has a criminal record.

In the conference room, Tuta (Morinaga Yuki) is tied up with thread that was sprayed from Mizuno's (Tetsugi Shigeyuki) buttocks! Nagare (Kikuchi Fuma) and Sae (Non), who arrive late, ask what happened and learn that Tuta stole Mizuno's listening device. Tuta claims to have picked it up, but one by one, everyone's belongings begin to come out of his bag... Tuta reluctantly confesses the reason for the theft and the complex he has, but Nagare and the others look at him coldly. However, when he shows them the "power" he used to steal, everyone is shocked... Suddenly, masked men with guns burst in and take Nagare and the others captive. Held at gunpoint, the seven are in a desperate situation. Will Tuta be able to use his power to fight off the enemy and clear his name? And there was a surprising mastermind behind the attack on the reserve self-defense force...! Meanwhile, a death row inmate escapes from the detention center...

Yutani, a "hero who has lost sight of himself," uses his "fusion reincarnation" ability to fuse with Chuta! Nagare and the others are stunned when a man who looks like a cross between Yutani and Chuta appears. Everyone rushes to somehow put them back together, but when the fusion is undone, Chuta is left in a daze... The next day, Yutani confesses about his high school days when his fusion reincarnation ability awakened, and the struggles he has endured since then. "So, who will fuse with me next?" Yutani calls out, triggering one by one the members of the Self-Defense Forces to fuse with Yutani! Then, everyone is shocked by the fusion reincarnation of one of the members...! "Huh? It's XXX, right?" Meanwhile, escaped death row inmate Shirota attacks an office worker, steals his suit, and heads to the Ministry of Defense. He breaks into the sixth conference room and takes the receptionist hostage... What is the death row inmate Shirota's purpose?

Shirota, a death row inmate known as "Nitro," breaks into Conference Room 6 and takes the receptionist hostage, demanding a meeting with the Minister of Defense. Yutani presses for the woman's release, but when Nitro puts his hand on it, it explodes. He collapses unconscious and in a critical condition, emitting smoke.

After the battle with Nitro, Sapipi awakens in the hospital and reveals she was the one who saved everyone, hinting at a hidden power. Meanwhile, Nagare begins to question their role as reserve hero candidates after facing Nitro’s overwhelming strength. As Minister Kurokawa reveals the true purpose behind their selection, the team embarks on intense training

Seven Heroes Who Completed Their Training" Nagare and his friends train hard to become true heroes and repay the favor of Minister Kurokawa . The seven heroes gather together, looking fearless after completing their training. Have their abilities truly awakened? Meanwhile, the fate of the world rests in the hands of true heroes. The United Nations Hero Interceptor Force, led by Captain Ares Nolan, plans to destroy a small celestial body heading toward Earth and protect it. Nagare and Sae are watching the progress of the mission on TV at an izakaya. Suddenly, Sae thanks Nagare for saving her during the Nitro incident and asks, "What do you think of me?" and "If we're going to be on the same team, I want to clarify our relationship." Nagare's answer leaves Sae speechless. The UN Hero Interceptor Force's success has led to growing momentum for hero ownership within Japan.

After the press conference titled “Saving Japan?! First Deployment! A Tearful Hero,” the Ministry of Defense and the Reserve Self-Defense Force face massive backlash as Yutani (Takenori Goto) goes viral while Sae (Non) and the others are flooded with online criticism, and rumors spread that the team may soon disband due to poor leadership. Meanwhile, the government learns that fragments of a small celestial body destroyed by UN forces will collide with Tokyo in two days. With no solution in sight and officials blaming one another, Defense Minister Kurokawa (Wataru Takasugi) desperately turns to Nagare (Fuma Kikuchi) and the reserve members, pleading for their help and insisting that one member’s special ability may be the key to saving Japan.
