Synopsis
It's the harshest winter ski jumping has ever experienced and „Fly“ is there up close. The four-part series follows German ski jumpers through the 2024/25 pre-Olympic season and looks behind the scenes, at the ski jumps and at places where there has never been a camera.

Euphoria
The German men are dreaming of their first Four Hills Tournament victory in 23 years. Pius Paschke's fantastic start to the season is generating euphoria ahead of the tournament opener in Oberstdorf. There, the women remain spectators, taking their first steps towards a true Four Hills Tournament with the Two Nights Tour. Selina Freitag and Katharina Schmid are torn between anticipation and frustration after a turbulent start to the winter season.
Rivals
With the Austrian sweep of the podium in Oberstdorf, the long-standing ski jumping rivalry between Germany and its Four Hills Tournament partner Austria is reignited. Pius Paschke puts up a fight against his seemingly invincible neighbors. The Austrians' dominance causes surprise and suspicion. Austria also loses favor with the women and continues to block a women's Four Hills Tournament.
Self-determination
An embarrassing prize money is causing outrage at the Women's Two Nights Tour. Despite tough setbacks, Selina Freitag and Katharina Schmid are undeterred and pursuing their goals for the World Championships in Trondheim. Schmid's dream of becoming a record-breaking world champion is in jeopardy. Freitag is finally stepping out of the shadow of her famous brother Richard. At the ski flying event in Vikersund, the women intend to show that there are no limits for them.
Fraud
The German men's team is at rock bottom ahead of the World Championships in Trondheim. Head coach Stefan Horngacher is under pressure. But is it solely due to their own mistakes, or are the Germans at a disadvantage with their equipment? At the World Championships in Trondheim, a major scandal erupts: a blatant case of fraud rocks ski jumping and threatens the future of the entire sport.
