The social media star and trainspotter trains as an astronaut with one of the leading companies in commercial space flight, and under the guidance of Tim Peake. After experiencing real astronaut g-forces in a human centrifuge, the reality of training proves far tougher than Francis expected. Determined not to give up, he begins to train like a real astronaut.
Episode 2
From medical emergencies to simulated moon missions, Francis is pushed to his limits and finds solace in engineering. Reconnecting with the curiosity and love of machines that first fuelled his journey, he realises there may be more than one way to reach for the stars.
