Synopsis
The year is 1957. The cast and crew of the Lester Guy Show are extremely apprehensive about their upcoming live television broadcast on the Zoblotnick Broadcasting Co. network. Lester Guy despises fellow cast member Betty Hudson for unknowingly becoming more popular than him and schemes to destroy her career. Only two of the seven episodes were written by David Lynch.

The crew attempt to launch the first broadcast of The Lester Guy Show; however, bizarre events throw the whole show off balance. Mr. Zoblotnick, the network owner and the rest of the viewing public like the results and it's a hit.
Episode 3
Because of Betty's incredible popularity from the debut show, Lester convinces Professor Answer to compete against Betty and her seventh grade teacher in a rigged quiz show.
Episode 5
Sylvia Hudson, a class A bitch & Betty's sister, appears on the show and insults Mr. Peanuts the network's children show star. Betty gets the crew and the viewing public to bring Mr. Peanut's spirits up.
