Synopsis
Kuroi Misa, a girl with Satanic powers, mysteriously appears in various high schools. Carrying a dagger and a heavy leather bag, she uses her powers to eliminate the evil forces that thrive on deadly sins of the human race. Her ultimate aim is to cleanse the earth and rebuild her broken family.

Black Magic Girl
A series of mysterious suicides begins to occur among the third-year students at Hijirigaoka High School. At the same time, Taketo, Hiromi, and Takehito start observing a sinister student who wears a sailor uniform.

The Magic of Refrain
Misa and her friends go to teacher Naomi’s house to meet her fiancé, Tatsuhiko Sawaki. There, Misa discovers that he possesses a mysterious Egyptian ankh and that he has a macabre interest in her Silver Needle pendant. Misa then races against time and the trust of everyone to save the teacher and her friends from a dangerous ritual.

Away from school, Misa works as a fortune teller to help those in need and meets Miyuki, a woman in love who recently found out that her lover had been hiding the fact that he was married with a family. Now, filled with resentment, Miyuki wants revenge.
The Girl Next Door
Yuji is a young university student who has just moved into an apartment and is charmed by his neighbor Akemi. However, Akemi starts being stalked by Misa, who wears a black cloak. Yuji then risks his life to defend his neighbor, but she is hiding a secret.
The Magical Garden
An unexplained incident affects the main stars of the movie The Magical Garden, but when this creates an opportunity for Yuko to revive her acting career, she must turn to the supernatural to avoid losing this chance again.
Law of Death
After losing her best friend Kyoko, Hitomi finds herself desperate and aimless and considers attempting to summon the spirit of her deceased friend so she can finally say goodbye. However, when she gets the chance to bid farewell, she cannot let go of the past and tries to keep her friend alive.
Dizziness
A photographer begins to be plagued by nightmares at night, which may be linked to his recent memory loss. Amidst this turmoil, he discovers that his wife has been frequenting other places during the late hours of the evening.
Nightmare Flower
Kazumi is a student and artist who painted a picture for her writer sister. When they hire Misa to work as a maid in their house, she and her sister begin to notice that the painting carries malevolent influences.

Kyousuke finds the key to solving the mystery of Mr. Omori's disappearance and now needs to hurry to accomplish his final goal. Meanwhile, Misa is captured by the Hecate cult and races to try to escape before they manage to revive the dark goddess.
Two Years Ago
After a night of nightmares, Misa remembers her father and mother, who sacrificed themselves so that she could learn what she knows about magic. (*This episode was reportedly not aired during its original broadcast on TV Tokyo, only being officially shown in reruns in the Kansai region and was officially released on DVD and LaserDisc, missing from the versions available for rental at the time.)
Envy
Despite her efforts to improve her personal records, Itsuki cannot surpass her rival Shoko in the long jump. When she realizes that Shoko is also getting along with a boy she's interested in, Itsuki seeks out a suspicious method to break her limits.
Revenge
Misa saves a young girl, Tsukiko, from being run over by a car. However, the winds continue to blow towards Misa, indicating that there is a huge ominous sign surrounding that girl. When Tsukiko's path crosses with a group of thieves, Misa exceeds her magical knowledge with an unthinkable measure.
Conception
Mizuki and Sanae are two telepaths who sense the moment their friend Harumi is violently murdered by someone. When they realize that Sanae continues to communicate with a suspicious doctor, Mizuki uses her powers to find Misa and prevent both of them from meeting the same fate as Harumi.
I
Maya participates in paid meetings with older men in exchange for gifts and, along with Keiko, tries to encourage her friend Eri to join this world too. When Eri arranges a meeting with a man, Maya shows up beforehand to steal him, and it is soon discovered that he was murdered. Observing these events, Misa, who had transferred to the same school, begins to take action to investigate this problem.
Siege
Kazue shows her friends that an orange stain appeared in a photo with them, including Misa. It seems strange, but Misa initially doesn't notice anything wrong. When Kazue mysteriously dies and a new stain appears in Yukari's photo, Misa is sure that something very sinister is happening around her and her friends.
The Seventh Seal
With her powers partially sealed, Misa faces difficulties in finding those responsible for the murders occurring within the group of girls. But when she identifies the magic pattern being formed, she manages to get closer to the one responsible for all the cruelty. (*Due to the themes represented in this arc, the series was allegedly canceled on TV Tokyo, the original broadcaster, following a mass murder crime involving teenagers that received significant media attention in Kobe at the time. Subsequent episodes were only aired on TV Osaka and its affiliates.)
Surface
A masked painter is making a name for himself in the art world, but what the critics don't know is that in order to maintain his artistic style, a lot of blood must be shed. Misa appears to confiscate and seal the mask, and Aikura-sensei agrees, but with one condition: to paint a portrait of Misa.
Blood
A reclusive doctor spends his nights hunting vampires in the city and killing them with a stake. What initially seems like a good sign turns into a ticking time bomb when Misa realizes that this same doctor is connected to the emergence of these monsters.
Witch Trials
When attacked by a man with a knife in the subway, Misa defends herself and nullifies the manipulation that controlled the man’s body. Not believing what she says, the police arrest her and take her to trial for his murder. The situation becomes more complicated when a certain person appears to give testimony about Misa.
The Last Supper
During another difficult night, Misa suffers from a nightmare from a year ago, when a mysterious man appeared at the door of her house, and after that, her sister disappeared and her parents were turned into wooden dolls. (*This episode was allegedly not broadcast during its original airing on TV Osaka, being officially aired only in reruns in the Kansai region and officially released only on DVD and LaserDisc, not included in the versions made available at rental stores at the time.)
Shadow
Misa goes to Daimon Village, hidden in the countryside, to find clues about who orchestrated the trial against her and in hopes of finding her sister Anri's whereabouts. Upon arriving, she saves a girl from being killed by a mysterious assassin, but soon Misa realizes that the girl follows a strange religion.
Sister
After an attack by one of the nuns, the villagers begin hunting Misa, who is the new vessel chosen by the cult leader. During her escape, she encounters Ryo in the forest, who is also seeking revenge against the nuns. There, Misa will also meet someone she hasn’t seen in a long time.
Holy War
With all the chaos in the village and in her heart, Misa must enter the Pandaemonium to confront the guardian deity who caused all of this to the villagers and to her sister. Facing the devil himself, Misa will need to make a difficult decision to save Anri’s soul.
