Synopsis
The Blue Knight is an American CBS Crime TV series, running in 1975 and 1976, starring George Kennedy as Officer Bumper Morgan. The show was based on the best selling novel by author Joseph Wambaugh and produced by Lorimar Productions. It was also inspired by the 1973 TV Film starring William Holden, which ran before the TV show premiered.

Two vicious hoodlums turn Bumper's district into a war zone when they start targeting their fellow lawbreakers, who can't go to the police for help after they are beaten and robbed.
Triple Threat
After wounding a suspected mugger, Bumper tangles with the man's sister, a prominent attorney who refuses to believe that he is a criminal and wants to get Bumper's badge taken away.
Odds Against Tomorrow
Bumper tries to help the mistress of a sadistic crime lord, who has her beaten up when she tries to leave him, so he hooks up with vice cops who offer her protection if she will agree to testify against the man.
