Meadowlands (2007)
Synopsis
Their lives in danger, Danny and Evelyn Brogan enter the witness protection program and are moved, with their teenage twins Zoe and Mark, to Meadowlands, a seemingly idyllic and perfectly manicured community. Their initial sense of well-being is shaken, however, by the dawning realization that most of their new neighbors are harboring dark secrets of their own, and only Danny's case supervisor, Samantha, is holding all the cards. The Brogans quickly realize that they may have left their old problems behind, but a whole new kind of sinister trouble lies in wait as they start their new lives together.

Episode 1
The Brogans arrive in Meadowlands and meet their neighbors: bad boy handyman Jack Donnelly, vivacious and bubbly Brenda Oglivie, and general practitioner Dr. York, all of whom harbor secrets as potentially devastating as the Brogans' themselves.
Episode 2
Jack, bruised and battered, tells Samantha he wants to leave Meadowlands. Danny glimpses a familiar face and becomes paranoid that someone from their past has tracked them down. Zoe and Jezebel try to find out what Jack did to end up in Meadowlands but when Zoe finds out the horrific truth, it only increases Jack's torment.
Episode 3
Local cop Wintersgill becomes suspicious of Jack's absence and begins investigating his disappearance, while Danny and Mark struggle to keep Jack's disappearance a secret.
Episode 4
Danny is held by Wintersgill, who attempts to abstract a confession from him. But Danny is equal to Wintersgill's interrogation techniques. As a psychological battle develops, Wintergill's troubled childhood and what brought him to Meadowlands is explored.
Episode 5
Zoe finds a mutilated corpse on the street. Mark and Danny panic—someone has moved the body but who and why? The residents are shocked and Danny realizes that Samantha is trying to scare people. Zoe tries to discover the truth.
Episode 6
Danny goes to ask Samantha about Cape Wrath but she's away visiting her ailing father, who explains the Meadowlands experiment and Samantha learns her true identity. Meanwhile, Freddie almost convinces Danny he is losing his mind but he soon confronts Samantha—she confesses what Cape Wrath is, but doesn't tell him everything.
Episode 7
David is tortured by his past and his feelings for Evelyn. Doing the right thing has gotten him nowhere, so he gives her an ultimatum – either she sleeps with him or he tells Danny.
Episode 8
Danny makes plans to leave, but in order to convince his family to come, he has to tell them everything. Meanwhile, Mark's involvement with Brenda and Jezebel leads to him discovering what brought them to Meadowlands in the first place. David, Evelyn and Danny have one final confrontation before the entire truth is revealed.
