Synopsis
The disappearance of 14 year old Amber Bailey sets off a two-year search during which her family will go through unimaginable pressures. As the days, months and years progress the mystery deepens, and strange and terrifying clues come to light, raising yet even more questions. The world becomes gripped by the mystery of the missing teen. What happened to Amber?

Sarah Bailey has recently split up with her husband Ben, and trying to remain a good mother to her children Amber and Eamon. When Amber goes inexplicably missing she reverts back to old patterns as Ben once again becomes becomes the family leader.
Maeve
Maeve Dunne is a former gossip columnist and a jaded socialite who has recently profited from her friendship with Sarah Bailey. When she is contacted by a prisoner claiming to have new information about Amber, she sees an opportunity to redeem herself.
Charlie
In an episode viewed through the eyes of DI Dunlop and Sgt Karen Mulcahy, increasingly it appears that Amber's missing mobile phone may provide a definitive answer to the mystery and that a man called Charlie may have that answer.
Ben
Ben takes the search for his daughter to the grimy world of internet pornography, and he finds some astonishing things.
