Synopsis
NTSB investigator Ellie Molaro, suspicious of the "official answers” to an oil rig disaster, spearheads a private investigation with a secret tipster named Carter who claims that a conspiracy of “Fixers” are behind the worst disasters in the country, all rigged to manipulate the stock market, and reap billions for a select few.

When Ellie is called to Chicago to help with a new case, Carter follows and together they attempt to track down a suspect in a train crash.
Episode 3
Ellie and Carter, who is badly wounded, escape to safety after making their way through a forest inferno. They hide out in a motel and Ellie learns she cannot trust anyone.
Episode 4
When Ellie meets Chloe it leads to a shocking revelation, and the race is on as Ellie and Carter race to prevent an impending gas disaster and stop the "Fixers".
