Synopsis
Bridget & Eamon are the typical unhappily married 80s Irish couple. They live somewhere in the Midlands with their indeterminate number of children. Chain-smoking Bridget has notions. She wants the lifestyle from the pages of Woman's Way but wouldn't want to think about how much it would cost to heat South Fork.

Eamon's always spending the money from the Trocaire box so Fr. Gabriel is keeping an eye on him this year. Meanwhile Bridget hosts a tupperware party that goes disastrously wrong when highly illegal condoms are delivered instead.

Bridget & Eamon are getting the channels in, even the dirty one - Channel 4. But when the TV licence inspector calls to the door, Bridget puts the house into lockdown. How long can they hold out with Bridget's supply of cigarettes running out?
The La-sag-ne
Bridget is a finalist in the Housewife of the Year competition and when Eamon hears there's a year's supply of free gas if she wins, he goes to extreme lengths to make sure she takes home the prize. But will it be enough to beat the reigning champion?
