Synopsis
Nikki White pursues her dream of being a Las Vegas showgirl, while her husband, Dwight, tries to break into professional wrestling.

An aspiring dancer and her would-be professional-wrestler husband decide to pursue their dreams in Las Vegas. We meet Nikki, who uninvitedly met Dwight at his going away to college party two years ago. They eventually cling to each other. After taking Nikki's advice to follow his dream and disregarding his mother's wish to see her son attend college, Dwight joins a wrestling camp, and incurring the wrath of his mother who cannot stand Nikki as she visits them.
Humiliated
Dwight makes his debut as The Crybaby in his first professional wrestling match, but his embarrassment leads him to ditch the script. Meanwhile, Nikki is up for a solo act in a musical production at the casino, but the lyrics could harm her big chance.
Topless
Nikki learns that the next show at the casino requires the dancers to perform topless- or take the month long run off without pay. Dwight's medical insurance is cancelled because of an injury he sustained in junior high school, and he can't wrestle until he gets a new policy. Before leaving for home, Marion tries to persuade Dwight that he's throwing his life away.
No Sex, No Mary, No Title
Nikki and Dwight have a hard time trying to squeeze having sex into their busy schedule. Dwight impresses Jupiter at practice and gets a chance to wrestle on television, but he'll have to abstain from having sex for two weeks to conserve his energy. Meanwhile, Nikki competes for the position of dance captain, but loses it to Mary.
Won't You Beat My Neighbor?
When Nikki and Dwight's new neighbor Robert complains about the noise and trades insults with Nikki, Dwight throws him out the door. When Nikki accuses him of trying to look macho in front of his buddies, they have their first big fight.
The Next Step
Dwight auditions for a music video that features dancing wrestlers, and he persuades the director to let Nikki try out for a part in the production.
The Ex Factor
Nikki throws a surprise birthday party for Marion on a night when the mother-in-law had dinner plans with Dwight's ex-girlfriend.

Dwight gets a match with CWF champ The Big Easy but isn't happy when the script calls for his opponent to win Nikki away with a kiss.
The Crybaby Who Stole Christmas
It's The Crybaby vs. Kriss Kringle as Dwight wrestles Santa Claus in this festive episode.
Bottoms Up
Nikki gets a chance to appear as a weather girl, but her excitement turns to embarrassment when she and Dwight realize bar patrons drink a toast to her "bottom" every time she turns her back to the camera.
The Jupiter and Mary Chain
Nikki's career hits a new low when she has to work with a drunken knife-thrower, but things get even weirder when, against Dwight's objections, Nikki sets up her friend Mary with Dwight's wrestling coach Jupiter.
Let it Ride
Nikki breaks her pledge to Dwight that she won't gamble after the wrestling arena is temporarily closed and her car breaks down.
Dream Weaver
Nikki fears that Marion will ask the rich man she's dating to persuade Dwight to give up wrestling and go to college. However, Marion's friend may not be as happy with his success as he seems.

An old friend of Nikki's visits and recalls the first time Nikki saw Dwight during a high school wrestling match. Meanwhile, Jupiter hires Mary to photograph his wrestlers for a calendar.
Family Lies
The first season concludes as Nikki's younger brother, Scott, arrives in town and asks his sister to arrange a job for him at the casino.
