The Glory Boys (1984)
Synopsis
The Glory Boys is a three-part 1984 British political thriller miniseries produced by Yorkshire Television for ITV, starring Rod Steiger and Anthony Perkins. In London, visiting Israeli scientist David Sokarev is targeted for assassination by two different terrorist organisations: one Irish, one Arab. After working at cross-purposes for an extended length of time, the hired killers from both factions decide to join forces to carry out their murderous assignment.

Part 1
PLO Agent Famy and IRA Agent McCoy are hired to assassinate world-famous Israeli scientist David Sokarev. They are sought by British security on the streets of London.
Part 2
Sokarev reluctantly proceeds to his London engagement under the protection of veteran security agent Jimmy, an alcoholic with a maverick streak. The terrorists botch their hit and split up.
Episode 3
Wounded, McCoy stays at the suburban home of local girl Norah, who inexplicably loves the brutal killer. Police catch McCoy, and Jimmy pries out of him Famy's next plan: to kill Sokarev at Heathrow Airport.
