Synopsis
Vered is in a 40-year-old crisis - her marriage is boring, work is boring and the house is suffocating. One evening Naomi, her aging mother, declares that she has lost the purpose of life and asks Vered to kill her. Vered does not agree and goes on a wild journey in order to find meaning in both of their lives.

Vered and Ben meet Yotam, Osi's new partner, for the first time. Partisan Dvora Shalosh tells Vered that her mother asked her to kill her.

After a medical examination, Vered discovers that her mother is about to have two toes amputated. Naomi is unwilling to accept this cruel fate and asks Mordechai to kill her.
Puppets on strings
Vered takes Naomi to a spiritual workshop led by Yotam, and Naomi falls for Yotam after he promises her she won't have to cut off her fingers. Vered tries to rekindle the spark in her dormant marriage with Ben.

Vered and Ben begin couples therapy, and the differences between them begin to surface. Vered joins Yotam and Naomi for a spiritual session on the beach, and sexual tension begins to develop between Vered and Yotam.

Naomi is told that she must amputate half of her foot. Vered calls Yotam for help, and continues with him into a confusing and romantic night.
